I know I’m not the only one of us who has several projects stashed away. I used to see something, love it, buy it, and think, ‘I’ll get to that
soon, once I finish my current project.’ For this reason we run a UFO class, where I get to help people complete their chosen project. Last night I decided to bring my own UFO along to do in the time when everyone is busily working away. It is a needle turn applique block of the
month from 2009! The first block is now well underway.
One day you might see the quilt hanging in the shop. It might take a while, as I have many projects on the go… but hopefully it won’t
take another three years!
Last Saturday I joined the Patchwork and Quilters Guild at its monthly meeting in Ivanhoe. It was a very pleasant day and I caught up with friends I hadn’t seen for quite a while. Thanks to the Guild for inviting me along.
And lastly, here’s one small reason for making quilts………my granddaughter Phoebe wrapped up as snug as a bug on the classroom floor!
Hope to see you soon. In the meantime, happy quilting.
