Saturday was a beautiful sunny day for our first Stitching Day.
The name tags and kits are ready for collection.
Both Leanne and Barbard had worked extremely hard designing different projects. All projects were either hand pieced or embroidered.
The hall was filled with chatter and laughter.
The ladies got straight into stitching, only to be interrupted by Devonshire Tea and their projects were starting to come together by lunch time.
There were also beautiful quilts on display, some are projects planned for classes next year.
Lunch time was a quick bite to eat and a walk in the fresh air around the corner down to the shop for some fabric therapy. Angie was looking after the shop and had some great specials ready.
It seemed like no time before it was time for afternoon tea, Angie had baked yummy berry muffins and chocolate truffles.
Everyone had a lovely day and couldn’t believe how quickly the time went. Before we knew it, it was time to pack up.
We will plan another day for next year, there was even a whisper about Christmas in July.
Till next time
