Well, finally I have some time to write a blog.
I have been stitching the new BOM called ‘Welcome to my Garden’ designed by Zoe Clifton, for our shop sample and it’s looking very nice. It will be our first BOM for 2013.
Recently I had a day at Squilters – Carrum Downs on 3rd October. The ladies were lovely and I did a little demo for them. As usual the show and tell was fantastic. Thank you ladies. My photo is a bit fuzzy but you can see that everyone is busy.
We are excited about our technique classes with Chris Serong in November. Chris’s beautiful quilts are at the shop now. Details are on our Term 4 class list.
A new range of Robyn Pandolph fabric has arrived. It is called ‘True Vintage’ and has Robyn’s usual signature roses.
Had a very busy two days last Friday and Saturday at the Eastern Palliative Care Quilt Show which was held at the Nunawading Uniting Church. The quilt show was a great success and the quilts looked beautiful hanging in the church proper.
The catering ladies were on the go both days supplying the hungry visitors with Jan’s lemonade scones and all sorts or slices and cakes and sandwiches.
NEWS! NEWS! NEWS!
We are very excited to be part of the ‘ Fantastic Fabric Frolic’ in January 2013. Details are still being finalised and we will let you know very soon about dates and PRIZES!! I do know that the grand prize will be a sewing machine. WOW!! Keep an eye on the blog.
