I know it has been a while since I wrote a blog, the days just seem to go so fast. Just finished quilting a large quilt and needed to sit and rest my feet, perfect opportunity.
This week will be The Quilters’ Patch first anniversary. It just seems like yesterday.
One of our sit and stitch ladies has been busy making this quilt for her sister for Christmas. She used the Stof Christmas fabrics.
In the last week of November I was fortunate to be able to attend a four day workshop with Judy Niemeyer of www.quiltworx.com and we are happy to announce that The Quilters’ Patch is now a Judy Niemeyer certified shop, and we will have patterns available. Next year we will have classes available for selected Quiltworx patterns. If you get a chance, have a look at the website, the quilts are just amazing. I hope to have the class list complete soon. My shop sample of Glacier Star will be up in the shop in January.
Our shop window looks beautiful with lots of stitcheries and different projects to make. Angie has done a beautiful job sewing quite a few of the samples herself. Maybe the quilting seed is growing.
This last weekend Cooper and Pheobe had a sleep over. Pheobe is walking now, so we had to put the gate back on the stairs. It will be fun at Christmas.
Wishing you all a safe and Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
Until next time
